Thyroid Health
Just like your car burns fuel in order to drive, your body burns food. The accelerator regulates how quickly your car moves, so similarly your thyroid regulates how quickly your body utilizes food.
In its capacity as a fuel regulator, your thyroid gland is hugely responsible for your energy levels, your weight and exerts a strong influence on fertility and the menstrual cycle in women.
Thyroid problems are much more common than is often thought and if your mind and body frequently feel sluggish, you may have an underactive thyroid gland.
